About

Roxanne Davenport is the real deal. She has old school glamour, but with the energy of an 18 year old.”
-Nick Yale, The Nicholas Yale Real Estate Team

THE CONCEPT:

It's the littlest big show in town!  Roxanne crams it all into her pretty pink Prius and comes to you with costumes, scenery, props, lighting, and sound.

The show utilizes Roxy's entertainment skills and is designed to raise funds for non-profit organizations.  Raise funds for your organization while your audience has a fantastic and memorable evening!  All you provide is a stage, electricity, and a few volunteers.  The show practically pays for itself and you keep the additional funds for your organization!  Your staff promotes the show, manages tickets at the door, manages the house, and some can be featured in the show if you'd like.  You simply need 3-5 volunteers to complete these simple tasks on the night of the show.

Set during a fictional, long-running TV gameshow, we place the theatre audience in the role of the studio audience.  Real live audience members are chosen as the contestants and they win fabulously tacky prizes.  In addition to watching and playing the gameshow, the audience also witnesses a dragstravaganza of silly commercial breaks and optional pop-up drag performances by your team members.

This early beginnings of this creative project started in the 90's with her first "real" show in 1996, and Roxanne has been in hundreds of performances since then.  Her first private solo gameshow, Roxanne's Rivalry, was developed in 2015-16 and has finally become a reality!

Roxanne Davenport is the WORLD'S FIRST Drag Queen Gameshow Host!  Sorry BINGO queens, that's technically a board game :)

FAQ:

How big of a space do we need?
>> A small theatre or a lecture hall seating up to 200 people is perfect.  Spaces with a large projection screen are ideal since the show game board is projected.  We also need a "backstage" area for changing costumes.

What dates are available?

>> Friday and Saturday nights are best but we can do weeknights too, and its possible to do a matinee and an evening performance on one day.  Contact us for dates.  We can book up 6 months in advance.

How much does it cost?

>> We charge a flat rate per show. You set the ticket prices and we will set up online ticketing and create a poster and press release for you.  We have thousands of dollars invested in the show and recoup it a little at a time.  That flat rate price is all-inclusive of our travel, lodging, per diem, the prizes, etc.  If you use our equipment (projector, curtains, lighting, etc.) we may ask for additional rental fee.  It's really win/win: you raise funds, we recoup our expenses, and Roxanne gets to perform!

Can we serve alcohol at the event?

>> If you want alcohol you'd need to handle all of that.  It makes for a more fun evening but that's out of our purview so you need to clear it with the venue and apply for any required licenses.  This is not a bingo game or a raffle so you don't need a license to just host the show.

What do WE DO exactly?

>> Before the show you need to promote the performance in your usual ways.  We will provide a poster and a  press release with photos.  During the show you need to collect tickets, sell tickets at the door, and help people with seating.  If you have two high-profile volunteers to be in the show as Roxanne's drag queen "show girls" that's a lot of fun and will likely bring in a larger crowd.

Sorry, we are no longer accepting bookings/clients!
